Some big games.
I don't think UK can beat Auburn. Will have to shoot lights out and defend, something we can't seem to do both of, but we'll see.

Just 5.5 for Auburn?
I just think this is a horrible matchup for us. Don’t expect a win but hope we play well and stay fricking healthy.

Things that occurred in the same year the last time Auburn won in Rupp:
- U2's Joshua Tree was the Album of the Year
- McDonald's released the McChicken
- First Episode of "Cops" Airs
- Nike launched its "Just Do It" campaign

My thoughts:
Arkansas absolutely cannot lose this game. It might end their at large hopes.
Oklahoma is in a must win and really needs this road victory to bump their resume a bit.
Bama-UT just might decide the last 1 seed.
Vandy really could use another quality win over a ranked team to solidify their resume. Winning in College Station should ensure they are in. A win here leaves zero doubt.
UGA-Texas might just be an elimination game. The win over Florida really helped UGA, but they can’t slide down the stretch. A home loss here might doom the Horns.

SEC basketball flips the calendar to March on Saturday with a full slate of 8 exciting games. I’m officially calling it — this season is coming “down to the wire.” It’s happening.
We’ve seen some exciting results in recent days. Teams like Vanderbilt, Arkansas and Georgia are playing their way onto the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble. Newcomers Texas and Oklahoma are cratering at the wrong time.
But there are still 3 games left in SEC play for each team. Still plenty of chances to pick up key wins, starting on Saturday.
Here’s a look at our 5-star rankings of each game on the slate in the SEC men’s hoops world this week:
5-Star Games
No. 1 Auburn at No. 17 Kentucky — 1 p.m. ET on ABC
No. 6 Alabama at No. 5 Tennessee — 4 p.m. ET on ESPN
No. 12 Texas A&M at No. 3 Florida — 8:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network

No. 14 Mizzou at Vanderbilt — 6 p.m. ET on SEC Network
Georgia at Texas — 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2
3-Star Games
Oklahoma at Ole Miss — 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2
2-Star Games
Arkansas at South Carolina — 1 p.m. ET on SEC Network
1-Star Games
LSU at Mississippi State — 3:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network

What is the backstory here?

During the massive chokelapse they had in Austin Tom said some things that got the aggy all butthurt and so David Nuno had him on their show to explain himself and his comments. The whole thing was cringe AF but typical A&M doesn't realize it makes them seem petty and petulant.
Here it is in all it's regal glory....

This is an interesting part of the standings to me:
Texas A&M 9-6
Kentucky 8-7
Ole Miss 8-7
Mississippi State 7-8
Vanderbilt 7-8
If Vanderbilt upsets Missouri and chalk holds in other games, you will have a four way tie for 7th between UK, Ole Miss, State and Vanderbilt, with A&M just a game in front of that group for sixth.
State would be 3-1 vs. others tied with
Kentucky would be 2-2 (would win tiebreaker with Vanderbilt because of win over Florida)
Vanderbilt would be 2-2
Ole Miss would be 1-3
Texas A&M 9-6
Kentucky 8-7
Ole Miss 8-7
Mississippi State 7-8
Vanderbilt 7-8

I hope Kentucky plays like they have nothing to lose, which they don't

Idk, but I'm glad Sunny is calling the Mizzou game.

Texas A&M 9-6
A&M was tied for 3rd in the SEC and #7 in the country and have lost 3 in a row. Their next 2 games are at Fla and vs Auburn.
Now they could win both of these games, but if they cannot pull the upset, they will be on a 5 game losing streak heading to LSU to try and finish above .500 in the conference. SEC is brutal.

Hogs lose today and the ncaa talk can be over. If we win, I feel we can drop a game at vandy and be ok. But you can’t lose today

Bama-UT just might decide the last 1 seed.
