If tweet fails to load, click here. I stand with Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. If you trespass and come near the players after the game then the player should have the right to protect themselves since they don't know what the end goal of the fan is.

It seems like Bama fans are constantly crying about field rushing because of muh safety.
But their players are the ones who keep hitting fans.

1. I have no problems with fan field rushers
2. I don’t think any fan should sue anyone for actions during that rush. Its known a field rush is lots of emotions and moving parts - risk is high plus throw in likely inebriated fans.
3. Always respect and stay clear of players

Because gis team got beat.
Serious question: When is the last time a player was injured because a fan rushed the field and tried to intentionally hurt players? Maybe it's happened and I missed it. But I don't remember it.

I agree. Rushing the field doesn't both me as long as stay away from the players. If you approach a player and get decked then that's on you.
