One off game means very little. Bama has greenlighted the three ever since Oats has been there. Hence the OP.

That first Alabama team under Oats had to shoot a billion 3s against anybody with size because we got every shot we took at the rim blocked (#343 nationally in block rate against - 12.4%). Our bigs were Galin Smith and Javian Davis

Alabama has insane depth and has the tools to win in multiple ways. If a team overloads the 3 line on defense, we can back off those shots and will absolutely hurt you at the basket. But yes, if we have a cold night and shoot 30 open 3’s and only sink 6 it’s going to be a tough night. And the analytics (and therefore Oats) will say to keep taking open 3s even on a cold night. Dig too far into that hole and sure, we are beatable by a very good team.
Our toughest draws will be the really great disciplined and aggressive defenses like Tennessee and AU. We tend to get a little complacent at times assuming we have 90-100 points to gamble with. Our mental stamina and resolve will be challenged in a 60 point game where every possession matters.

We rebound about about 40% of those misses and then turn them into close 2s or free throws.
The only way our offense goes to shite is when we turn the ball over. More specifically, when we both turn the ball over and somehow don't offense rebound (see Ole Miss). That's apocalyptic extinction level shite for us.
Ole Miss - worst off reb game of year, worst turnover game of year (64 pts, 0.842 PPP)
Georgia - #2 worst turnover game of year, solid off reb game (90 pts, 1.16 PPP)
Illinois - #2 worst off reb game of year, solid turnover game (100 pts, 1.23 PPP)
