He doesn’t want a full time job. At his age he gets to dabble in work to keep him going. He doesn’t have the energy anymore and who can blame him? He’s done enough.

He would accuse us of being racist and March on Birmingham as he’s done before.

“Look, I’m tired of it aight? You all have inherent racism runnin through ya like shite through a tin horn and need to educate yourselves.”

What makes you think he has the skill set to be a good commissioner?

That's like taking your best history teacher and making him Superintendent of Education. Most of the time it's a disaster

Alabama Jones is lucky he got out when he did and didn’t get fully exposed.

The gig was up.

Seems like a good idea. But it would be foolish to think he wouldn't be biased for Alabama. While coach, he always backed rule changes that he thought would help his team. When his players offended, he didn't punish publicly, but used "private" punishment which always appeared to be nothing.
There's no reason to think he would not be biased as commissioner.

The commissioner does the bidding of the presidents/chancellors. They aren't autonomous.

He’d definitely be better than this loser Sankey who is basically destroying the conference and sport from within

I'm sure there wouldn't be any bias toward Alabama and LSU.

Then you have Ed o. Who didn’t support his players and supported racism, and his team quit on him

You have to think bigger fish with Saban and all he means to the sport. His great football intellect needs an expansive horizon that allows this artist to paint and create masterpieces with his abstract, but mostly Crimson thinking.

Czar of College Football.

He should be mandated federal powers and be able to mobilize the troops on a moment's notice to squash any threats to the security and sanctity of our beloved sport. He alone decides what's in our best interest and has the power to unilaterally decide the fate of NIL, the magic portal, and BAMA's perpetual place at the playoff table.
