Texas will be a 8-4 team in 2026 and 2027.

2024 & 2025 Texas SEC record:

Against 1st-8th in SEC: 0-2

Against 9th-16th in SEC: 7-0

2026 Fall they finally for the 1st time in history play a tough schedule. They will play every top half SEC team besides UGA then. Add in used to play cupcake Big 12, add in they played Arizona St and Clemson, 2 teams that didn't finish top 12 but got in through bylaws. They are due for a tough schedule. Long overdue.

They play @ OSU and @ UGA. 2 likely losses. Then play @ UF and TAMU. 2 middle pack SEC teams. Rest are cupcakes.

On one hand, it's deserved. On the other, Jimmy Sexton is despicable. Guy clearly orchestrated the NFL rumors to use as leverage to get Sark an extension, same bs he pulled with Saban for a decade. Human garbage. And Sark seems like a good guy, but he had to ok it, so he's not without fault

He got an extension and raise last year too right?

I’m good with it. I’m hopeful for next year and that’s because of what he’s done with the team. Give the man his money.

You must be able to see into the future to know where teams will rank in 2026!

tOSU will be replacing 15 starters at least, and breaking in a QB who hasn’t started a game yet.
Florida could be a top 5 SEC team next year.

Nah. Sark got an extension last year, this just add on another year. I think this is Texas trying to keep Sark after Arch leaves in 2-3 years.

The extension inures Sark a nice payout when the crash comes.

Nothing like a contract extension to reward a coach for a (mostly) successful season.

And not that anything bad is going to happen but what is his buyout now?

He already had a pretty good one. How many more years until LSU can afford BK’s buyout?

POOR POOR LEADERSHIP DECISION. I’ve said this has been Texas’ problems for 20+ years and they help confirm my accusations.

I wish they would sign him for 20 years for $1 billion lol

That is a really nice troll job. Mocking LSU with the gif while simultaneously rubbing OU’s nose is a 5 year old embarrassment is top shelf work.
