Are they ever gonna convert that field to grass? I think Texas has plans to go to grass in '26.

Probably not. I’d love to have real grass but allegedly the location of the field has drainage issues and it’s near impossible to keep quality grass growing throughout the season.

I’m more skeptical of the climate excuse though…the Chiefs do just fine with real grass.

Yeah, Arkansas struggles with theirs (and shouldn’t).

The Greenbay Packers are proof that it’s about effort.

Mizzou's Rock M reminds me of that UTEP/Texas game at the Sun Bowl where ESPN caught a Miner getting a handie on their rocks.

I know in Kentucky’s case we have the high school championships all six classes in late November

Excuse me, sir. We are getting along in this thread to honor the memory of the Rock M.

Thank you for your cooperation.

This is the reason they are unwilling to convert the surface to real grass?

We’ve had grass fields. They were all destroyed. KY playoffs are six games in two days.

Best part of Mizzou’s campus. Actually, it’s the coolest thing in Columbia, MO.
