Les miles does not win. Toss play didn’t work

OG Miles definitely wins that game....

Actually I agree on all counts. Texas needed to pound the run more...then take those shots downfield on PA. Not a damn chance any of those coaches run a toss wide on the 1 yard line

Sneak the football 4 times. Not rocket science

Sark is a terrible coach
No doubt. Mack blows that Ohio State Team out. 1st and goal at the 1 and they don't put Arch in to have a second run threat at QB? And they pitch the ball and lose 7 yards? Sark needs to fire himself as OC...

Miles would have run it three times. He was a goofy bastard but his teams were tough as nails in the trenches.

Fake punt might have worked for them.

Ewers kept you in that game. Trust me, Arch won’t be the savior you hope. That said. 1st and 1. Come on Sark you moron.

I didn't mean put Arch in the entire game. I meant put him in for that short yardage play where they need 1 yard for a TD...
They have had a ton of success converting those short yardage plays where they just need a couple of yards with him in the backfield as a running QB threat in other games, but it's Sark and he tries to get too tricky and flashy and outsmarts himself and totally abandons what works..
The defense was great and Texas offense had so many opportunities and blew it.

Play action, TE looks to be a blocker, but slips into the EZ for a TD. Works 90% of the time in those situations if you do it on first down and goal.

The real problem is our OL is good...but not top 2 or 3 in country. Our OL will be rebuilt next season and we have some dudes in the waiting. Yes, Sark's play calling was a major factor but you can't win if players don't execute...and we weren't running the ball well in several games.

Fake punt on first down to win it!

Mike Leach (RIP) one of the greatest “offensive geniuses” wins that game. If he was in that situation, he might not have called four runs up the gut … or maybe he might have, his offenses were tougher and more balanced than people thought … but he damn sure would have called something moving toward the end zone, there wouldn’t have been any pitches behind the line. And I would have liked his chances.
