Not saying this is who I think the Top 25 teams are… Just guessing at how the prognosticators will rank teams way too early when all these sites release their rankings:

1. Ohio State
2. Texas
3. Oregon
4. Notre Dame
5. Georgia
6. Clemson
7. Tennessee
8. Penn State
9. LSU
10. Michigan
11. Alabama
12. Iowa State
13. Syracuse
14. Illinois
15. Auburn
16. Kansas St
17. Miami
18. South Carolina
19. UNLV
20. Boise St
21. Florida
22. SMU
23. Indiana
24. Texas A&M
25. Ole Miss

Tennessee lower due to their defensive losses (15ish?

South Carolina will be a popular Top 10 pick

Ole Miss somewhere between 10-20

Florida/Auburn will be popular "I want to sneak them in there near the bottom" picks

One of Mizzou/A&M is probably in

2. Texas

5. Georgia

10. LSU

11. South Carolina

13. Alabama

14. Tennessee

18. Ole Miss

20. Texas A&M

23. Auburn

25. Florida

Just wait. You’ll see the websites start ranking Auburn between #10 - #20 next week. Can’t say I agree yet but we’ll start the year in the Top 25 next season.

Alabama will still be rated higher than Tennessee in the preseason.

Auburn likely not ranked, but certainly not that high.

Some teams are tough to project without knowing if they will land a portal QB, like Miami, Oregon. Is Leonard back for ND next season?

I can't see Syracuse rated nearly that high.

All valid. Interesting we came up with the same 10 preseason ranked SEC teams.

If Texas loses to tosu, I don't see them being ranked over Georgia. Yes, Texas would have made it to the semis, but UGA beat Texas twice.

UGA is losing a ton from this team on both sides of the ball.

I think we'll still have a bunch of teams in polls, as we should. But the median rank of those teams is gonna be closer to 13 or 14 than 7 or 8. Portal also just really makes it a coin flip on a lot of teams, especially those who don't consistently use it and then decide to grab a bunch of pieces in it (like, say, Texas Tech).

I misunderstood the OP. I thought they were talking about the final AP poll, not next seasons.

What are you asking? Top 25 to end the 2024(-2025) season? Or Top 25 for the 2025 season (next season that starts in Aug 2025)?

Okay I see now-- I think the OP was just very poorly worded.

I don't think tosu will be ranked 1. They have a lot of 5th years leaving after this season, and the only underclassman they have on defense is Downs.

2025 Georgia will have the most question marks and the lowest ceiling of any year since Kirby's first.

Why would Auburn be ranked higher than UF? UF is returning more, has a more proven QB, and ended the season on a 4 game win streak. Auburn only had 5 total wins.

LSU returns the best QB In the SEC and possibly country In terms Of production and potential, BUT that doesn’t negate his self-inflicted mistakes of reading defenses consistently and not making plays In the Pocket

He offseason to work with the new WR’s/TE and clean it up. Should be a top 3 Heisman favorite
