The Yankees have finally found a way to get back their football supremacy, by out paying us.

Ohio State and Michigan have always been paying players under the table.

The stars of the game for Notre Dame:

QB bought from Wake
Kicker bought from SC
Kick returner bought from Marshall

Definitely a different era.

True but now you can openly do it with corporations behind you.

Yeah I'm totally sure that Urban Meyer wasn't paying any players at Ohio State...

You can’t have this argument both ways. Money has always mattered. The non-AAU schools cheated. Now suddenly they don’t have enough.

A friend of mines son is starting on ND's defense. That kid would've gotten into ND without football. And, money wasn't why he went to ND. The truth is Marcus Freeman is a better recruiter than BK and he's a better coach. Ryan Day is no slouch. And, Sherrone Moore went 8-5 with 2 tomato can QBs b/c he had the sense to hire a veteran NFL DC who was able to keep their defensive system in place. Not to mention Sherrone Moore schemed around his bad QBs by only letting them pass a handful of times per game and getting their running game up to par.

These midwest schools have really good coaches and they are well funded.

Not if the Dakotas and Montanas remain in FCS.

B1G has always been rich. ND, OSU, Michigan, and Penn State are absolute monsters when it comes to fan support, money, and media attention

They got arrogant and fell behind from 2005-2020 but they are back in full force now

Time for the SEC to catch up

And? You ever hear anyone talk about hot Notre Dame and Ohio State women? Nope.

They would never do it, but if they wanted to, they simply could. Stanford might actually try.
