We needed to add speed. We couldn’t stretch the field bc we mainly had red zone WRs. Concepcion, Hudson, Noah, Bussey, Craver. Barber is sure handed. Freshmen in Myles and Johnson coming in are fast. The freshmen that red shirted have speed. Will be interesting.
I’m secretly excited.
Edit: I still hope we get Malik Benson and shut it down at recruiting WRs. Focus on OL, DL, maybe one more secondary guy or athletic LB.

That all seems relative. Horton did put up better numbers this year though. Alabama has a deep group at WR. They’re all just pretty young. Unless someone else transfers, they were not adding another WR.

Alabama went after Concepcion but he was not interested and this seemed to be established weeks ago. We also went after Horton and he was.
Seems both teams added to a position of need and both WRs should see the field.
I understand your narrative you want to go with but in the end can only take the kids that want to be in your program.

Don't know how helpful epic WRs are going to be if Reed can't get the ball to them, but I'm glad about that pickup.

Reed took his lumps this year but I think he's learned a lot and will be good next year.

We’ve had 3 OCs in the past 3 years. Klein will be able to expand his playbook with the continuity imo. Some people don’t believe there is a learning curve when there is new playbooks and coordinators.
