He’s got a crappy offense, USC getting worse every year for 3 years now, and watching his clock management to end the half just now - why did people think he was a great coach at OU?

because he had a good offense for a few years.
unfortunately he couldn't figure out how to get it to work complimentarily with a defense and he hasn't kept innovating a new offense so it's just ordinary now.

Yeah really pisses me off that we loss to that team led by that coach. He has a huge recruiting base with what I would presume a huge nil fund and his team looks worse each time they play. Hope aggies put them away in 2nd half.

He was handed the keys to a fricking Ferrari his first year. Go back and look at that team Georgia beat in the rose bowl on offense. The further from stoops recruits he got, the softer we became. He was saved by QB play that was at an insanely high level as well. LR is and always will be a bitch. I knew he didn't have it when he pissed down his leg in the Rose Bowl when blowing a 17 point lead.

He lived on out recruiting every team save Texas in the big 12 and nobody knowing how to play defense there, but he usually got blown out in the playoffs.
Once he got to USC he found out most PAC-12 teams could stop his offense and now that he’s in the BIG 10 he’s finding that he can’t just out recruit everyone now either.

Because he was in the BXII. He fled OU when the decision was made to go to the SEC cause he knew OU couldn't compete year in year out in the SEC.
BUT, he got screwed when SC went to the B1G.
