Our win vs GT ABSOLUTELY broke them

I've read some stuff on Stingtalk and other GT forums and I'm telling ya, that win destroyed them. Honestly, even after a few weeks now, there are some folks that are gonna have to have some therapy or something to get over it. I don't think I've ever seen a fanbase take a loss so hard. Most of it is whining about the refs, yada, yada, yada. But they are completely broken.
I usually love to mop the floor with the maggots but now I'm beginning to think this is the best kind of victory to have. A close one where we just snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat and leave them speechless and dumbfounded.

I know...I've always believed that Florida is our greatest rival and will always feel that way I guess, but there's just nothing sweeter than beating our little red-headed stepchild GT every year and then get to relish the anguish and moaning and groaning that is to follow.

That was far more painful than beating them 40-0. We gave them hope and extinguished it.

Florida is a peer program. Auburn is a peer program. We obviously feel like we’re better than them but at least competition is respectable.
Tech is a little bitch.
Tennessee is technically a peer program but they really don’t act like one.

I wish i could care more about the Tech rivalry. It would be fun. But I don't, and Tech feels more like an occasionally aggravating little brother situation than a big rivalry.

Nah. The modern era of cfb dates to about 1960. In that 65 years, GiT has won 17 times, UGA 48 times. Not competitive in the modern era.
