How interested do you think he’d be in returning as Co-DC, now that Charles Kelly is leaving?

He’s a good coach but totally different scheme. T-Will runs a 4-3 (4-2-5) with a lot of press man.

Durkin runs a 3-4 hybrid with mixed zone and press.

Who can we hire that will never rush 3 on third or 4th and long? That's who I want.

Do people legitimately think an SEC Defensive coordinator is going to become a position coach at a rival SEC school just because he played there?

Just a position coach? That’s not what I asked. And I’d hardly consider them a rival..

Just because he played there? Absolutely not, that is asinine. To pose a question, where that would be the only determining factor, is equally as asinine.

Here’s a thought… next staff hire doesn’t have to be attached to the AU tree. I understand there are capable coaches who have no affiliation to Auburn that would be a great hire.

I agree

I'm sure there's a coach with absolutely zero connections to Auburn hanging out somewhere right now in a hot tub with another College administrator that can make this happen

Don’t we have a HC and D Coordinator that doesn’t have AU connections
