It's depressing...bowl season used to be so much fun.

Im actually surprised the Colorado guys are playing in theirs, I gave Deion a lot of grief, but holy hell did he impress, and kudos to Hunter and Shedeur for playing.

The shite Marshall pulled is proof that bowls are dying. But I do have a lot of respect for some of these bowl teams. Sam Houston has their entire team in the portal basically but they all still played the game (and won to get their first FBS bowl + 10 win season). WKU had a bunch of guys (including their QB) in the portal and they also still played.
I get guys dont want to get hurt... But lets be real here. Who in the CUSA or SBC are going to get major NIL offers in the portal? Would be a red flag to me if I were a coach and these guys didnt want to finish their season out

I’m with you 100% on the bowls. Who cares. Big waste of time.
But…. I’m 100% on board with the playoffs. Even with LSU no where near them this year, I can’t wait to watch all 4 games tonight and tomorrow.

I like bowls. Its a proper send off for seniors out of eligibility, young players playing their first snaps at the college level. And it gives me football to watch when were about to go 8 months without it.

There are reports that other teams were considering not playin too, but I doubt they call off the game this late.
In our game, there are some reporters saying Lincoln could get fired if he gets blown out. I half arse believe that. I haven’t paid attention to USC but apparently the team is falling apart.

USC cant afford his buyout, I think I read its close to $100m - much bigger than Jimbos was.
Their team is a complete mess. All of their 5*s left. USC fans should be scared... Everyone expects his defenses to be bad, but he failed to develop several elite offensive players now. How the frick do you not have a good offense when you have Duce Robinson and Zachariah Branch as your WR1 and WR2
