7-5 is correct. They will start 5-0, then the brutal schedule kicks in and they lose 5 of their last 7. Mateer then transfers to Oregon, like Gabriel, and OU starts over from the beginning.

The thing about the SEC is OU finished behind 6 2025 SEC opponents in the newest recruiting class and just marginally ahead of Mizzou & SC who both beat them…not to mention they play Michigan who finished ahead of them.
Their Vegas +- will be 6.5.

OU much like Bama is still adjusting to the end of a dynasty run. They had stoops and Riley run..which was a great one...but they haven't adjusted their expectations to the new reality yet..again much like Bama fans.
At least Bama was smart enough to go sign a proven winning head coach to replace their coach.
