Bye Michael Hawkins...I looked at Washington State's competition this year. Most of Mateer's successful games were against weak competition. I'm sure he's good, but even if you add the Branch brothers you are lacking good line play. Remember, the OU defense lost alot of talent after this season. I think you're looking at .500 next season with that difficult schedule.

He has 2 years but likely to declare if has a good year. We have legacy QB Mike Hawkins who will be ready by then, and will be able to back him up this year plus learn from an actual OC.
