Yes , Bama nation. Fight back. Such an oppressed program. Always plays by the rules.

It's why Dabo refused to join the portal and sink real money into NIL. They have been money laundering and paying recruits for years through a local megachurch and he is pissed that is is ineffective now. Meanwhile USC got in trouble for a discounted hotel room and texting someone a day too early. Things have shifted now and you are going to see South Carolina teams that will be bigtime for years to come with no fear of biased NCAA reprisals.

This is going to kill Alabama and Oklahoma.
They've always had a six-digit pool to work with. It ain't enough now that the law-abiding citizens can play too.

My God that is so pathetic. Bama used to use the NFL salaries of their draft picks as mailers for new highschool recruits. Promising them multi million dollar deals! fricking hypocrites

I'm not one to comment on the financial status of others, but I have always wondered what type of person is so financially down that they think someone getting a car loan is difficult.

I am not sure this argument really makes sense in this context.... because it is....NFL money...after....they were in college.

So you are going with "they paid car notes like everyone else?"

The context is they are luring players with million dollar contracts. Who gives a frick if its in college or pro? You completely missed the point

Theres only so many mortgages you can get on a double wide and I'm sure most Bama fans are maxed out at that limit already

You're an idiot. Players previously went to the schools that gave the the best value, and the best value before NIL was based on being developed for the NFL. Of which Nick Saban/Alabama did better than any other school by a wide margin.
When NIL started, the game changed from being developed and becoming an elite player to get paid in the NFL to players wanting immediate payouts without getting developed. And since the game is being dumbed down, they'll still probably make the NFL in some capacity.
And that's what we see, talented players who do not put in the work required to be elite. Not just at Alabama, but everywhere.
Personally, I hope Ohio St and Michigan take all the kids just looking for a paycheck. It doesn't generally work out well, like what happened to A&M after all that bragging they did after buying the #1 class. And if Texas thinks it wants to be in that, have at it.
