Was high 37-low 32, possible light rain.

Knoxville ironically, High 50 low 25.

So pretty much a wash if played at night. 15 day forecast subject to change

The wind will be what matters most. Tennessee is gonna run the ball in situations. OSU is pass happy. If Howard can’t pass and their beat up line can’t run block, it’s gonna be a struggle for OSU. Should be a good game.

Not sure what you are looking at. I see a high of 30 with a low of18 with 13 mph winds. It's going to be chilly.

It changes daily. That's why it's called weather forecast.

Knoxville now slightly warmer but still roughly the same. High 38 low mid 20s.

The only difference from Knoxville weather to Columbus weather is about 5-10 degrees. Everything else is the same. Unless you’re in Lexington, where it is essentially the same, just shitier.

It's dumb that they are doing home games like this.

They put all these bowl games in the south for a reason, nobody wants to go spend 4+ hours in that cold arse weather. They might fool some people the first few years, but they won't do it for long.

And you have to deal with all that traffic in those conditions. frick all that.

Need to put that shite in some domes nearby or play them as tradition bowl games.

I was thinking about this. If you look on the surface of their passing game, they seem much closer in approach:

2024 Pass Attempts:
OSU - 344
UT - 343

Then when you look at rushing...

2024 Rush Attempts
OSU - 405
UT - 545

That is 12 more carries per game for Tennessee.

Looking at Yardage
2024 Passing Yards
OSU - 3,052
UT - 2,771

That's nearly 300 more passing yards for Ohio State on only 1 more passing attempt.

Truth is, neither team is going to play great in the weather. Football starts and it's 90s all over the US.

Nobody short of high elevation schools play in bad weather during the traditional season dates.

I think this round should be in regional domes. You have Indy and Detroit to play at in the Midwest.

Love how Midwest folks smugly point to the cold, when Tennessee is one of the colder SEC states.

There’s not that much difference between Columbus and Knoxville. They might get a bit more snow, but they’re acting like they’re Minnesota and we’re Florida or something.

That’s a bit played out. Most knowledgeable football fans realize that Tennessee is not Deep South like LSU or Ole Miss. Plus a lot of OSU roster and UT roster has guys from all over the country.

They want it to be like the NFL when people are tuning in to see the Cardinals or Dolphins have to play at Green Bay or Buffalo.

There is a reason why the bowl games were initially put in the sun belt, before bullshite like the International Bowl, Motor City Bowl, and Humanitarian Bowl were created for TV inventory to appease every bowl eligible team.

I wonder how HS teams in south do it - start with 95 degree, 95% humidity and end up in 30 degree, low humidity by December Championship. You don’t want to play up there, win your conference.
