Can't remember the details, but man that may have ended up being just what Auburn needed if they had gotten Deion.
What happened?

He wasn’t, and still isn’t, qualified for an SEC caliber job. He would have more resources, but resources don’t win games

After the shitshow that was potato boy the powers that be were not going to take a chance on him in my opinion. They wanted someone safe.

They absolutely could have had him.
He went to the worst team in P5 (at the time). CU was a dumpster fire.

Deion can coach? According to the rant he was in over his head.

He just went 9-3 at a school with traditionally limited resources.

they did win 9 games, but not sure they beat a single ranked team with losses to Nebraska, Utah, and KState.
I think he would have done as good or better than Freeze year 1 and 2 with Shedder and Hunter and the talent they already had.

HY did a courtesy interview…..one more in the endless stream of winners we pass on for ‘morality reasons’.

If you know anything, just the tip of the iceberg, of the powers running Auburn then you wouldnt need this thread. Those dudes dont want University of Deion.

So you go with a guy that got hammered by the NCAA and left the Ole Miss program in shambles?
