...if most of the players knew they were going to transfer before the bowl game?

Or was that the coaches goal due to their contract terms?

You don’t go to a school for the chance to play in the liberty bowl. Most players are here for money. That might mean an NIL deal now or it could mean development in the form of playing time in the sec to get drafted or secure a better nil deal later.

I don’t blame them. Most of these kids don’t come from money and have a short window to maximize earning potential.

Do you not know who their Head Coach is?

It was Larry's (the bowling ball) aka Pittman's contact from HY.

All these lower bowl games are irrelevant with the playoff.

Nah, he'll go out with a bang next season 4-8

There's rumblings of BMFP bailing though.

If he does... I will forever hate that piece of ......

He came back after shedding tears with the Bazz at the LRTDC speaking of everything he owed this state, and the UofA...

He gladly took the job and said he had something to prove..

Well, prove it ya douche!

I may not watch a single game next season if this happens.

Number 2 offense in the best conference last year.

I wouldn’t tie the anchor around my neck for a worthless fat body who isn’t a coach, he is a recruiter. And recruiting really doesn’t matter anymore.

If he does, I wouldn't blame him. Pittman is living on borrowed time. BMFP isn't ready to retire, so why not get out before Pittman gets fired after next season?

Our program's trajectory isn't worth a shite with Pittman as the head Hog. No one is gonna pony up shite for NIL with the undisciplined, sloppy teams he puts on the field.

The only coach I’d go after this late, would be the Georgia DC, Glenn Schumann. That most of UNC wanted until Bill threw his name out multiple times publicly.

Keep the rest of the offensive staff in place and let him tune up the defense. Bobby has said he doesn’t want to be HC (lie) but let him help the new head coach.

Give Bobby a raise for the performance last season. Get this guy cheap. And hire a fricking GM

The justification used to be that bowl teams got that extra practice time for player development for next year. Well that shite is over.

Opt outs will continue until they take a large % of the bowl revenue and divide it among the teams playing.

I do, he is the reason we are in the purgatory of football hell in the first place. When he was first hired at Arkansas, I met with him and 11 other folks prior to the razorback club meeting we were attending. I asked point blank a few harder questions. He was a slime ball then... is he now?

He should ride out this storm regardless imho. He was already the most hated man in Arkansas once... will he go for a twofer... without his harlot on a harley with him?

??? Idk anyone who hated him. I knew plenty of people who hated long for not making it work. As in do WHATEVER is necessary to keep him but idk anyone who hated him. Also, it’s not Bobby’s fault John L and Bert took the keys to a corvette and drove it off a cliff. Bobby left the team with plenty of talent regardless of what bullshite the media likes to spin. And why should Bobby go down with this sinking ship? He’s not Christ on the cross, he doesn’t have to martyr himself to arkansas football. And on the topic of slime balls Idgaf if our coach or coaches is a slime ball or not. Barry Switzer was fricking one of his own coaches wives while that coach was out recruiting for him and nobody cares because he won. What matters is winning. Anything that is a detriment to winning should be cut out. If it helps, let it permeate through the program. If we could get a winner in football I’d give damn near anything for it. Which is what great programs do. They have their priorities right. But those priorities may not line up with the moral views of a reverend (pun intended). You’ll just need to accept that.

weak arse attempt bro... If you think that is a melt.

we all have opinions, mine is simple. He needs to hang in there, because he caused much of the crap we have dealt with as fans. He may, he may not... and I do not control it either way. But he knew what he was getting on too when he signed on for his "redemption tour"
