WOW!!!!

Just still head scratching what COULD have been had ole Gus just stepped back and got out of his own way!

Get in here Spots: Does this change your view of Gus? Was it LASHLEE’s offense that made us so dominant in 2013?

Just think: we had Lashlee running the best ground attack I have witnessed since those Osbourne Nebraska days

We ALSO had Dillingham coaching Bo and we got to see what he did at Oregon coaching Bo.

WHAT COULDA BEEN….

Did he really? I think he actually gave them their first real opportunities.

Dude you are struggling with narratives this week.

Congrats to the coaching tree Gus has created. I hope they are all successful unless it hurts Auburn

No way a Gus coached team comes back down 3 scores like SMU did. Glad for Rhett

It just goes to show he never gave up play calling duties the entire time. FSU better prepare themselves for pain

Everybody on this board would’ve been shrieking if we hired Lashlee at any point before this season. Would’ve been nothing but complaining about typical Auburn hire, JABA, Gus’s boy, etc.

In hindsight maybe.

Dilly was just a coffee boy while he was here.

Lashlee was the right hand man of the guy fired.

Jennings is Rhett’s Nick Marshall. When Gus had Nick, no lead mattered. We always came back.

Dilly was QB whisperer supposedly. Must have been true but he left us real quick. We should have seen his potential and rise. He would have been risky but home run hire

The first year we lost to Bama and Georgia … again, people would have been calling for their heads

BS.

He put them into an opportunity that furthered their career away from Gus.

Their agents found the right connection for them to excel .....

The point of the thread - Gus wasn’t SMART or HUMBLE enough to KEEP them

Gus would’ve loved to have kept Lashlee, his hand got forced on that one.

Should’ve given Dillingham playcalling responsibility and $ to keep him in 2020, but surely this board isn’t upset about that, since Gus got fired that year, which people still shockingly defend as the right move.

Lashlee was everybody's favorite scapegoat including all over this board.
