Saban not making sense saying that playing more conference games would help

It wouldn't

More SEC games means more tough games and more losses

Weaker teams playing more weak teams in their weak conferences doesn't fix that

Makes the differences worse

Agreed, but at the same time it doesn’t make much sense that the SEC would agree to such a stupid system

That’s the worst thing the SEC could do.

By definition you put an additional loss on half the conference while IU is playing Purdue and SMU plays Cal.

No idea what he’s talking about.

I think he said it, hoping that Indiana would have played another good Big 10 team outside of Ohio State.

But yeah, that set up would be another loss for a SEC contender.
