Figure you gotta give Ty a chance so we can know if we need to go portal shopping or not

I give us a 10% chance. Literally the 1 scenario that couldn’t happen…happened

Id like to see each QB rotate per series.

Before portal decisions by the QBs are made.

I agree we should be. But I don't trust the committee to do the right thing.

Unless Milroe gets hurt in the first round, I would think he will start the bowl game.

Ty’s performance in a bowl game is not going to determine his future. Jalen will not sit out anyway. If Jalen wants to play he’s earned it. I would like to see Ty get the second half just so we can see him in action

Vegas odds are always telling on just about everything. They don’t look good

The one scenario. SMU lost yet another game to a mediocre ranked team to bring their total top 25 wins for the year to…… 0…. along with having the 75th-ranked SOS.

I gotta say. I’m having a hard time understanding the pessimism.

Vegas isn’t on the Committee. And what Vegas odds are don’t mean one damn thing. At all. The odds will change hourly until the Committee releases the rankings.

Assuming Ty doesn't transfer before the bowl game. You figure you owe it to him to say least showcase what he can do for us and other teams

They went from High SMU to middle SMU to lower SMU. It’s changing rapidly. My guess is it will be about even by morning.

You know I would like to think you’re right and would love to be wrong, but I’ve seen it too many times in these situations

SMU and IU have no business in the playoffs, but it’s pretty apparent both will be in despite their bad resumes.

Top 25 wins:
Penn State: 0
IU: 0
SMU: 0
Texas: 1

There are 4 playoff teams with one combined top 25 win.

Schedule and resume mean basically zero because the decisions are being made by people who either don’t care or have no idea what they’re doing.

Sankey made a massive mistake agreeing to the current criteria given the horrific discrepancies between the quality of competition in the SEC and everywhere but the B10 which from what I can see is basically 3 solid teams making a living destroying teams that are glorified MAC level rosters.

Milroe is off to the NFL.

Simpson will start the Citrus Bowl against Illinois.

And what makes you think Jalen won’t make a “business decision” and sit out? I’d be rather surprised if he plays. He can take his LANK arse to the NFL.
