I felt like the committee would keep us out with 3 losses.

If SMU loses, how far will the committee drop them?

How are both these things possible?

I think Clemson wins. I would just feel better about our chances with any winning.

I went to the Alabama Notre Dame game in 1988 where they killed us. I want revenge. RTR

It's funny watching them go from "No way Bama is in, Miami/SC deserve it!" to saying "No way Bama is in, SMU won't 4 spots!"

We will be in the game and they will br predicting we lose. The worse fans. Literally projecting their life on their team.

The 4 highest rated conference champs are guaranteed a spot. Unless I missed something, right now there are only 4 conferences represented in the top 12. If Boise loses and drops, the B12 champ will take their place at #12.

I actually think ND is the least likely. It's hard to imagine a scenario where ND doesn't finish as the highest rank at-large (#5 seed) and one where Alabama doesn't finish at #11. Depends on the SEC and Big Ten championships and how close they are

It's the 5 highest rated conference champs. The highest ranked G5 champ gets a guaranteed spot. The Boise / Nevada winner will be in.

I agree. The Boise/UNLV winner is in, loser is out.
People want to see Jeanty vs another Power5 program. Dude rushed for 192 and 3 TDs on 25 carries vs Oregon.

Plus they already beat UNLV where he had 33 carries for 128. UNLV had a one point lead in that game going into the 4th qtr too.

The committee has already told you where they rank 2 loss ACC teams that play shitty schedules. Miami's schedule was actually a little better than SMU's. I don't know why you're worried.

They are better than average. One watched some quick clips of them this morning. We will have to play well.

If PSU wins, OR will fall to 5 and push ND to 6. Other than that, think ND is locked in at #5. Think we’ll get OSU if Oregon wins.

Edit: I’d rather play ND than OSU.

PSU will be, they’ll lose their first game after the bye to one of the UTs in that situation

I think it's outstanding for teams like PennSt and OhioSt and Oregon to get the byes. Nobody wants to play 1st round games there anyway. Please God let Boise get that 4th bye. Aint nobody got time to watch anymore games on their atrocious smurf turf. Put ND in the top 4!

Northern teams should ALWAYS get the byes.
