I don’t think many 3 loss teams deserve the opportunity. In particular when those losses in years past would have been no chancers.
I get UGa and Texas are in and Tenn. Anyone outside of that there has to be bone dry small conference options. I would take a 1 loss conference champ over a 3 loss team. Record matters and if you are top of conference you shouldn’t have to run through the SEC gauntlet again in the playoffs. Plus would be good to see some small schools knock off an occasional big dog. Bad games happen.

Im torn on Bama. They have 2 bad losses but you can’t tell me they wouldn’t wreck 90% of that top 12.
He’ll I’d say they would be favored in almost every game as a 12 seed

We were up by double digits on Oklahoma in the 4th quarter.
Alabama scored 3 points against Oklahoma the entire game.

I’m not going to rank all 12, but will say that SC looks the part right now and could easily make a run to the NC.

Alabama had a great September but is 5-3 the last 8 games with losses to Vandy and Okie. They have regressed and don’t belong in my opinion.
I have SCAR over them - they have done nothing but improve.
