No drama or arguing I just want to see where everyone is at

1. South Carolina, and it isn't very close for me
2. Ole Miss
3. Bama (very close to OM for me)
4. Miami

So actually beating South Carolina (and in Ole Miss' case, by a frick ton) doesn't matter at all?

No. SC got better as the year went on. Bama and Ole miss got worse.

Alabama beat Missouri and LSU by a combined score of 76-13 3+ weeks after they played South Carolina

Went 4-1 and won 3 SEC games over LSU, Mizzou and Auburn by an average score of 35-9. Gave Missouri and LSU their worst losses of the season by margin and gave Auburn their 2nd worst loss by margin (UGA by 18 biggest).

But Alabama played awful at Oklahoma. Laid an enormous egg. It was embarrassing and it may turn out to be disqualifying. That's reality. But other than that, Alabama played it's best non-1st half UGA football of the season post-Tennessee (which is post-Carolina). It wasn't some week by week decline into the abyss. It was mostly solid play with an absolute stink bomb dropped in for one week.

Keep hearing the h2h argument but you also lost h2h against Oklahoma badly.

Ole Miss
Bama (it's really a virtual tie, but Ole Miss' impressive win over UGA broke the tie for me)

South Carolina

Miami (needing ref help vs VT and Cal along with losses to GT and Syr separates them -- they are also getting metric help playing the worst version of UF)

eta: None are playoff worthy.

Based on resumes

Alabama - most quality wins of the bunch (UGA, Missouri, South Carolina)
Ole Miss - beat UGA and USC, bad loss to Kentucky
South Carolina - lost H2H to both Ole Miss (blown out) and Alabama, no bad losses but quality wins below Ole Miss and Alabama
Miami - no quality wins on their resume

None of them should get in the playoffs IMO

I didn't know the other "potential" spot is against Oklahoma.

Weird.

Just saying you played them and lost. It’s funny the argument is over a SC win

Shhhhh...don't tell Bama fans this. They apparently don't think this is possible, since they keep throwing up that they beat UGA back at the beginning of the season and then both programs went in totally different directions after that.

You could argue that this is largely a function of when you happen to play the more difficult games.

And, no, I don't give a shite about the Clemson win unless you also want to put Louisville in the playoff.
