Will we see any HC changes in the SEC this off season?

It's been a rarity for the SEC to see every head coach from the prior season return for the next season. It happened in 2019 and before that you have to go back to 2006.

It seems like this year's coaches are largely either safe or buyout restricted. Sunbelt Billy salvaged his job, Kentucky isn't paying stoops $40 million to go away, Kelly is safe too despite the grumbles.

Pittman certainly seems to be sitting on the hottest seat but Arkansas could still finish with a 7-6 record. Pittman would be owed somewhere around $12 million on a buyout if he were fired this off season.

Stoops seems almost arrogant at this point and he's been extremely mediocre.

His seat should be blazing

I heard speculation of Pittman retiring

Is that just wishful thinking or is there any credence there

Can't be surprised if Kentucky pulls the plug if they have the funds to cover it. They expected a good season, and are bitterly disappointed in 4-8, 1-7 in conference while getting doubled up in scoring.

Could happen. Our AD could be yours. Who knows what’s gonna happen. Would be a good opportunity to clear house.

That seems kind of stupid to me but I can flip back and forth as to why or why not to do it.

I'd put Mizzou and UNC on a similar tier of overall program prestige but I'd give Mizzou the edge on being a better place to win. But then, Mizzou is in the SEC which is always a more difficult path than the ACC. But then, it's a 12 team playoff and the SEC brand can potentially still get you in with 2-3 losses.

Probably all will return but could see a whole lot next season get canned

Freeze
Napier
Stoops
Kelly
DeBoer
Pittman
Lebby
Venables

All would be fired or seats very hot if they have a subpar season to fans expectations

OU has an "excuse" and I feel like seeing the OC getting fired shows that they forced change, but not ready to make a HC change yet

I thought Stoops was safe because of his buyout but man that Louisville game was UGLY.

Yeah I don't see it. Their defense was quite good, their offense was abysmal but it got better after the OC change and they beat Bama which certainly helps an ailing coach.

OU doesn't have the cash to fire Venebles.

They'll roll the dice on a new OC and fire him next year most likely

Lebby is on the hot seat if he fails to win 3 next year

Raging dumpster fire.

If LSU is smart they will fire Bryan Kelley. Which means it probably won't happen, but I think that guy definitely should be sent packing. He is entirely reckless, a danger to student athletes, and is the biggest shite-the-bed'der I've ever seen out of a head coach, any sport, any level.

A disaster.
