Moore to Fresno State as HC. This has to happen. 10-2 and 9-3 in the SEC. They won't find any better.

Perfect scenario for Drink. Ditch a mediocre play caller while still maintaining that our coordinators get hired for head coaching jobs, allowing a better OC to be hired

Their current coach is 6-6 this year and a Fresno grad and all time leading tackler, but the boosters want a bigger name. The Moore's have the name. Being a SEC OC and recruiter has a nice ring to it and should sell the boisters. Utah State is also a possibility. But Moore was the OC at Fresno before Mizzou. And ADs like offensive minded HCs.

Fresno State athletics let us down guys. They chose a LB coach as head coach. Kirby didn't even get a sniff.

I'm sorry I let you guys down. But the good news is Moss or Weigman would be great fits for Kirbys offense. They can make the throws he was trying to get Cook to make. And maybe just maybe he will run the ball.

Cook was a serviceable quarterback. He has toughness and took a huge beating but continued to play on. He was a 3* recruit that couldn't throw downfield like quarterbacks that are 4* or 5* recruits. There is a reason he wasn't on anyone's radar during HS. I have said this before Drinkwitz has been building the football program slowly and now is time to move up to get a more talented quarterback that can easily make downfield throws without problems. I have said Drinkwitz is getting better talent players and even better than what Gary Pinkel had on his roster when he was the HC here. The only problem is getting the new quarterback to gel with the receivers and TEs. I have said this past season Mizzou was not quite ready for the playoffs.

Moore threw his hat in the ring for the Washington State job. He's got real competition from an Alabama Co-OC

Can he take Batoon and his zone coverage with him?

And Moore didn't get the job. How is a SEC OC not getting any serious considerations?
