That was a Thanksgiving tradition we all looked forward to.

Black Friday 07-08,24

How much longer before the Iron Bowl gets moved to Friday from Saturday?

Can’t beat the egg bowl on thanksgiving night. It’s my favorite game of the year, I don’t even root for either team. The pettiness is off the charts.

I love it. Probably my favorite rivalry game that almost never has any stakes whatsoever.

Viewers dropped after Miss State hired Arnett and Lebby

1998-2003 it was the only game on Thanksgiving Night. It was a great event!!!
But now the NFL has muscled their way in on Thanksgiving night and other games are played as well. So it lost its luster.
I am glad it is no longer on Thanksgiving night. Much better for the fans as well.
Preferably it would be on Saturday but Friday >Thanksgiving.

So they didn't have to go head to head with the NFL.
