SEC football has been underwhelming but the basketball looks strong.

Pio and the hoops fans should be happy. The league has been very impressive this early season. I would not be surprised if they have the most teams in the tournament.

Are you high? This season has been awesome. And the TV ratings show it. Sorry y’all’s shite arse conference is top heavy (one of the top being Indiana)

All the top SEC teams besides Texas have produced some stinkers. The Longhorns may right the ship for the league and give it an elite team.

Anyway, the topic is basketball. Alabama, Auburn, UK, and Tennessee are fun teams to watch.

Look at the viewership ratings dude. CBS screwed up big time, no one’s watching that crap your conference puts out there.

This is the most entertaining sec season I’ve seen in a while.

I really can’t comment on your conference personally though because I haven’t watched any of those games at all, I don’t want to go to sleep…

There was a time when the SEC discussed how its elite teams won the big games. Now, the only topic they have to discuss is TV ratings.

Now let's talk hoops.

I'd be very amused if the SEC ended up with two teams playing each other in the national title game again after expanding to 12 teams and having an "underwhelming" year.

I wouldn't be shocked either.

I don't recall any SEC QB giving himself up and sliding as the clock hit zero to lose a game -

You are more likely to get Oregon and Ohio State in the finals than 2 SEC teams.

SEC basketball schedule is going to be a slaughterhouse.
Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee and maybe Kentucky have all looked like Final Four caliber teams.
Ole Miss, Miss St, Arkansas, Texas, Texas A&M, Florida look like Top 25 teams.
Georgia and LSU and even Vandy look much improved.
Haven't seen Oklahoma play yet.
South Carolina and Missouri got out the gate slow but are no slouches.

It's similar to the Big12 from the last couple of years with multiple title contenders and almost every team is at least NCAA bubble capable.

SC lost at Indiana in one of the worst called games I can remember in a long time. Still, Indiana has some studs and they can shoot the 3 ... at least they did that night. They shot around 50% from beyond the arch and it was a packed arena ... a tough place to play.

Nah. Oregon struggled to beat Boise State and Idaho at home, along with Wisconsin on the road. OSU struggled to beat Nebraska.

The good Big 10 teams are just as flawed as the good SEC teams. There are only 2 from the Big 10 though. There are more like 4-5 in the SEC (thought we'll likely only get 3 in the playoff field).

I'd much rather talk about you leaving this forum and never returning. Why? Because NO ONE WANTS TO TALK TO YOU! Gees dude....

From what I have seen, the SEC has looked better than the Big 12. I know the NCAAT is unpredictable, but I can easily see two SEC teams in the final four.

The B1G is a work in progress.

I know Ohio State has its flaws. Playcalling is one of them. We cannot have that in the rematch with Oregon or the playoffs.

You better pray you don't face one of these sec stinkers in the playoffs.
