So does that make UGA the SEC champs even if Texas beats UGA in the SECCG? Because we did destroy Texas on their home turf this season. By a larger margin then Texas beat Bama last year.

Texas fans have been so used to a 1-game season that they just presume that's the norm.
So, by this logic, the Georgia Bulldogs are our 2024 SEC Regular Season champions.

Texas will lose to A&M on Saturday and then back into the playoffs by not having to play in the SECCG.
Just be thankful the field was expanded to 12 this year.
