Was I hearing things or did I hear someone he was interviewing from oklahoma say "we pretty much knew every play Bama called on offense"

They didn't have to when we were doing stupid plays like repeated QB runs.
Even that WR screen was idiotic. You runs those when the DBs are well off the line trying to cheat the deep routes.. NOT when they are at the line of scrimmage cheating every play to come downhill and seal our edges.
Just stupidity

Yeah Milroe shouldn't have thrown it

Was thinking the same. Is Milroe not able to see that and check out of it?
Or is he that clueless?

Why would you as an OC even call that?
Especially when you know our WRs won't block

I think that its pretty obvious at this point that he has trouble processing these things....

On the play where they had the box stacked and DB’s were 8-10 off, that would’ve been a good time for a screen instead of a QB counter.
BTW, with quick screens (mind you I didn’t play major D1 ball), we were always told “if you see ______ (insert opposing team’s jersey color) don’t throw it”. I’d have to think Milroe has been told something similar.
Blows my mind how he screws up some of the very basics of reads. His eyes never leave his intended target.

By the time he threw the ball the DB wasn't there.
Now the second pass was one of his brainless throws where he literally throws a perfect pass to a defender.
Wish their DBs caught the ball like CJ Dippre

Why even trust Milroe to make the decision?
Take it out of his hands man. Don't run that dumb shite; they were on the line pressing the edges most of the game.

It wouldn’t surprise me and it certainly looked like they knew what was coming.
With Milroe at QB, we only run a handful of plays. We give them some window dressing, but in reality our playbook is about 8 plays deep. And this time of year, there lots and lots of film to pickup on our tendencies.

I agree with you. Bad thing is Sheridan is in the box and the whole purpose of him being in the box is to be able to see the field better and think logically lol

Bama should just stop recruiting TE's as this point,

Are you inferring that Venerables is back to his ole tricks?

Why? That Cuevas kid is a player.
Too bad his OC didn't use him till CJ Dippre dropped his second pass and finally got pulled

Again, who is our QUARTERBACK?
He can't read defenses and he doesn't know how to check out of plays.
He's a tremendous athlete playing quarterback.

I'm not even bout to lie...CJ Dippre has been good up to that game honestly.

Tremendous athlete that runs sideways away from contact at the expense of getting a first down. Pretty useless without a wide open running lane.

You've gotta think, it must be AWKWARD as a coach to have your starting QB be so dumb he can't make the simplest of reads.
What do you even say at that point? How do you even coach?

Made me think when they showed the two guys with binoculars in the box.
