People think if they did "X in the SEC or if they stopped Y in the SEC that means more"! LOL!

So, they get graded on a bit of a curve, based on the patch on their jersey. We have heard it many times before; only for it to be proven faulty logic.

Remember folks talking about how Alabama rolled through SEC defenses - so "nobody else in college football is equipped to even come close to them"! LOL!

I remember that same logic in 2014 when Cordalle Jones just roasted Bama(3rd string OSU QB) destroyed the SEC best defense.
I mean, it's silly to think like that in the 1st place. But, how many more times does it have to get proven wrong for some

quote:

Dabo Swinney is having his radio show tape-delayed right now, and he offered a comment on no College GameDay selection for the highest-ranked teams in a rivalry game this weekend:

"You'd think it would be College GameDay here, but I think they're mad at me for not moving the game to Friday," Swinney said with a laugh.

Yep A&M is the easy choice since it has clear playoff implications. He did piss them off but it wouldn't have changed this.

A&M and Texas have so many more story lines. Higher implications, a renewed rivalry, etc

There was zero chance clemson was going to get gameday

No, I wouldn't think that.

3rd string OSU QB

So tired of this nonsense. Jones was the second string QB. He was listed as second string on the depth chart after fall camp. He was listed as second string on every game day depth chart all season long until Barrett got hurt in the Michigan game. That means he got second string reps all season. Then ESPN decided it will be a better story if they say he was third string. Just because ESPN says something doesn't mean it is true.

This all odd for them to say considering they got beat down by the only SEC team they’ve played so far.

If Clemson was in the SEC, they can kiss their double digit win seasons goodbye. Welcome to 7-5/8-4!

The A&M loss to Auburn definitely took some shine off the Texas matchup though.

Most Clemson fans that I have met have a very low opinion of Texas’ program for some reason. It’s odd.
