that's fair HRV - 1995 SECCG -
overall it didn't really pan out - 3 losing seasons out of 5 total -
95 Hogs and 98 Mississippi State are the only two teams to reach the SECCG with just 8 wins on the season - but it counts and everyone still partied

Petrino is running the offense and advising Sam and he likes the situation of not having to do what Sam has to do. He’s happy, why would he want to screw that up.

Because he’s a stubborn ornery prick that has to micromanage every aspect of the team. He’s doing a better coaching job this year than the last couple but he’s never going to get with the times. He should get a good group of forward thinkers in his football circle to handle the logistics of NIL but he won’t because it drives him crazy that he doesn’t have the final say on it. I remember when he said that. Ford wasn't very bright.
I don't like Dabo but he was hired by Terry Don Phillips who waited patiently behind Broyles to retire but got tired of waiting on him to do so and left.
