It looks like we had two injuries (at least) Saturday - Miller and Beck (minor?). I was at the game and Beck looked a bit limpy. Any updates on those/others?

Likely nothing until Smart's presser.

Yea, Beck looked a bit dejected on the sideline after he got hurt on that last play before he was replaced by Gunner.
I hope he's OK.

Didn’t see him on the sidelines after Stockton came in. Did he go into the injury tent?

No, he just looked dejected on the sideline like he was concerned that he hem might have hurt himself.

Really a bummer we lost Christen Miller because he was a beast against Tennessee. We're gonna need that guy down the stretch.

Know what doesn’t help w injuries? Am extra game and less time off.

I believe he had a separated shoulder they popped back in, so I don’t think he’s done for the season.

Yep. Some fans are still struggling with this concept, having trouble adapting their minds to a new situation. Won't matter because the coaches will press the issue; either change the format to provide meaningful incentive for conference championship games, or do away with them. Because right now there are too many potential situations where they present more risk than benefit.

Hypothetically, if we win in Atlanta, we would have the same amount of games and same amount of time off. We would then have more time to prepare for our opponent by a lot and our opponent would have to play in back to back weeks and also risk not getting some slightly injured people back in time for our game

Always take another Sec Title is the up side.

So the upside is, if we beat another physical SEC team in Atlanta, we probably get to play our 14th game (of what was already a very tough schedule) on a neutral field against another opponent who is most likely also playing their 14th game (unless they were unlucky enough to play a CCG also). That other team will have 10 or 11 days to prepare while UGA will have about 24- 25 days.
The downside is that if we lose (assuming we still make the playoffs), we may well be playing our 14th game in the first round against a team playing their 13th game. They will have an extra week of rest, less wear and tear, and home field advantage. From that point on, if we continue to win there's a good chance we will face teams who have played fewer post-season games than UGA, depending on how many CCG losers make the playoffs and advance to later rounds. The way I see it, that's an asymmetrical outcome to the negative side.
One possibility I forgot above is that we lose to GT on Saturday. In that case, we're much better off playing in ATL because we still have a shot to make the playoffs. Whether it outweighs the possibility of beating GT, losing the SECCG and missing the playoffs altogether, is unclear.

I know it's just SOP for the medical folks but man this sounds brutal
