His fate might be decided if this holds up and Arkansas gets shut out by La Tech. I’d welcome him back in a heartbeat.

I just saw the score and came on here to post exactly this, but you beat me to it.
It's a good question.
He's kind of old, he might just take his millions and enjoy the rest of his life in leisure.
But would I take him? Over Searels? Yes.

That is his last ride I believe

Not to Peter Buck out, but Pittman would not be upset if fired. He is ready to retire where he’s at. In what he considers Gods country

When Pittman took the Arkansas job, he made it pretty public that it would be his last coaching job. That said, stranger things have happened, and I’d love to see him back in Athens.

Matt Luke is back in coaching. Was the "more time with his family" a cover?

I would have to say that there is probably a higher degree of pressure and stress working for Kirby than just about anyone else.
Good chance Luke just wanted to get away from the pressure cooker.

I do not see Pit boss coming back to Athens. He loves Arkansas way too much. He will get fired, collect his millions and retire as he should.

yah, ditto. If Pittman gets fired he will retire and spend his time on a lake with his family. That was the end-game for taking the job at Arkansas. I don't know the man so maybe he is the kind that gets bored getting up with nothing to do but go fishing, but seems like he would want to retire.

He and his wife have a place up in the Ozarks and they will retire there when his time at Arkansas is over.

Pitt is done when his time at Arky is up
Great technical coach, mediocre recruiter. Luke couldn’t live up to Kirby’s standards for recruiters and likely even disagreed with the philosophy. We have been suffering through some of his personnel decisions this season.

Brooks Austin talked about this in one of game breakdown videos. He said (paraphrased) one reason the OL is not as dominated is due to Luke's recruiting and Searels has to work with what Luke left. Brooks also said that Searels is bringing the OL recruiting back up to UGA's normal standard. So, things should improve going forward.

But all the Searels haters said he would ruin the OL!
