We are really banged up on defense and missing a lot of starters but we made plays when needed and kept LSU from scoring much our last game.

Mobile QBs usually give us trouble so I am sure the Ole Miss QB will scramble for some first downs on us.

On offense I doubt we can win unless Lagway is able to run some this week unlike the LSU game to keep the Ole Miss defense honest. I have heard the Ole Miss DBs aren't that great as a group overall so maybe Lagway can burn them deep a few times. If the receiver isn't blanketed by the DB Lagway can drop the ball in there pretty good on deep throws.

How did UK or LSU beat them? Odds aren’t great but at home Gators have a fair chance at an upset.

Yep KY did a good job on defense that game. I didn't see much of the LSU game.

The Swamp is a great stadium. Went in 2015 to see it and glad I did even with the OM loss. If the crowd is engaged, attendance is good, and defense keeps playing at a high level then FL has a more than decent shot.

I really hope OM puts it to bed in the first half though

Kiffin basically said when you get a bunch of new players from the portal it sometimes takes a little bit for them to gel and play at the level they are capable of. That’s basically what he said happened against UK. LSU he was frustrated and said “we controlled the game the whole time and then just lost at the end”.

You don't need a running qb, we have a statue. Nussmeier doesn't run anywhere except backwards.

It's OleMiss's defense lost LSU and KY games.
The secondary couldn't cover and no qb blitz

No, those two games were on the offense. When your defense holds an opponent to 20 points and 23 points in regulation, that’s not on them. The offense shite the bed in epic form both of those games

Was the LSU QB just hitting quick passes on Ole Miss or was he burning them deep a lot? Didn't see but a few plays of that game.

You will need excellent offensive line play.

LSU's O line was completely different before their LG got hurt in the A&M game. His replacement sucks. Before the injury they had probably the best pass blocking O line in the country. After it isn't good at all. That is a big reason LSU looks so different.

Ole Miss's O line is more healthy now than any part of the year. They struggled the middle part of the season but have looked really good against Arkansas and UGA.

Kentucky was playing much better then. Don't know what happened to them since they almost beat Georgia then beat us a week later.

LSU played us without our best players.

Both needed to execute on some highly improbable plays at the ends of the games.

So I think that's your recipe: Play well enough that you could beat Georgia, hope for some midweek injuries, and then execute in some extremely difficult spots at the end.

Should be easy.

Florida is not beating Ole Miss
LSU controlled everything but the scoreboard and are playing bad football going on three weeks now and LSU still could have won that game

Ole Miss is way better then Florida and will win the game handily

Only upset I could possibly see is Auburn beating Aggies
Game at night and Jordan Hare will be rocking
Aggies have biggest game in program history next week

I believe this more than anything. OM cruised through the cupcakes because of inferior DL players, but KY and LSU caused major havoc keeping Dart off balance and causing him to make quick decisions. The AR and GA games showed what happens when he has time to let the play develop, whether running or passing.

And in typical CBK fashion your team has rolled over and played dead. Vandy is gonna really hurt that ego

Too bad LSU couldn't control the turnovers or Line of Scrimmage...Hard to win a game when you give up 7 sacks.

Since the Miami debacle our O line hasn't been really bad. I think we are only averaging giving up 1.25 sacks a game since Lagway took over. Our right tackle position is still a clear weakness but Lagway has been pretty good at adjusting to pressure from that side. Ole Miss will be the best D line we have faced though.
