Furman
3-7 Middle Tennessee State
@ 4-6 Wake
6-4 Georgia Southern
4-6 Kentucky
@ 7-3 South Carolina
@ 6-4 LSU*
5-5 Oklahoma
@ 5-5 Arkansas
8-2 Georgia
@ 5-5 Florida
2-8 Mississippii State

That OOC is FCS worthy and LSU is going to finish 6-6

The playoff is rewarding schedules like this. They are smart.

Stack wins and you’ll be in.

They lost to Kentucky and LSU. Colorado State is undefeated in conference play and might win the MWC. Michigan won the title last year. UTSA has averaged 11 wins per year post-Covid. Ole Miss's schedule is easily weaker...and they lost to Kentucky...at home

Ole Miss losses against teams outside the top 25 (2, LSU shouldn't be ranked)
Texas losses against teams outside the top 25 (0000000)

We had USC scheduled but they backed out and had to fill them in with another G5 game. It is what it is.

Just comes down to what you value - big wins or avoiding bad losses.

Texas doesn't have a big win but they avoided bad losses.

Ole Miss has 2 big wins but 2 bad losses.

Tenn also lost to Arkansas when they had their backup QB playing.

You just got blown out by Bama at home and lost by double digits to steamboat billy while he was boarding the train to the unemployment line

You're finishing 6-6

It’s really starting to feel like everyone either got handed a gauntlet or a cakewalk this year

This. Speaks for itself. And Ole Miss didn't just beat those two teams... they beat the ever loving crap out of both of them.
Ole Miss lost 2 game by a total of 10 points. Never trailing in regulation in one of them. And had they of stopped 2 long 4th down conversions, they'd likely be undefeated.

While Texas, in their lone top 25 game... well...how'd that go again?
