The reason the helmet came off a split second later is because the Vol had already got the job halfway done. Vols, they don't allow you to yank helmets off of heads.

Always shocks me in game threads at how many people don't realize this rule that any opening is a face mask, even the ear hole. Also see a lot of "it wasn't helmet to helmet it was the facemask." Well the face mask is part of the helmet and it's the head and neck area.
