Not really too concerned about it but the Heisman race is pretty meh rn and Jalen has 32 tds this year. Let's say he finishes strong and has a great sec championship and maybe he even has a small shot at the thing?

If he closes out very strongly. He will be in NYC. Finish 3rd-4th.

Would need a strong showing against Oklahoma, Auburn, and whoever lands in SEC championship

Unless he plays incredibly in the next two games, no.

I can see him finishing top 5 if he finishes even decently strong. But some years (like last year) they only invite 3 or 4 players to NY

Most underwhelming Heisman race in years...a bunch of finalists that faced subpar competition. Just give it to the Boise St RB.

32 tds with two maybe three games to go is impressive. The offensive revolves around him so he could have 5-8 more. The defenses do get tougher the next two games and much better against A&M or Texas.

I’m ready to see how the offense does the next two games, good defensive lines that have seen the QB draw with the RB in front. That play killed LSU and Venables will be ready for it. They need to change the QB runs up again. Love seeing Williams doing sweeps. Have Law come on a fake sweep and be the lead blocker for Jalen, boom td.

He has a chance. He just need to put up a huge # next week and Auburn game. I think he's slowly creeping back into top five.

Gonna need to get some completions. He’s even struggling to open guys on the deep ball now.
Even still, it’s such a down year he’s probably number 4 or 5.

Do they wind up moving the voting to later in the year? With the new playoffs?

Heisman voting is always after conference title game weekend, the playoffs don't matter in voting just like the 4 team playoff or BCS didn't matter.

Hunter and Jeanty are locks and Gabriel and Ward are looking to be invited as well. Milroe is 5th in the odds now (6th in some spots).

If Ward or Gabriel play poorly in the next 3 games and Milroe gets to 20 passing and 20 rushing TDs he has a chance to get invited.

Miami has Wake and Syracuse left so unless Ward plays poorly in a loss he's probably a lock.

Oregon just has Washington left, so he's a lock too probably.

My guess is no, Milroe doesn't go, but that he will once again finish in the top 6 in Heisman voting.

Decent chance he's SEC offensive player of the year though. It's between him and Dart I think.
