Which is easy to understand since we obviously don't have a viable replacement.
I just hope Bobo can find ways to take pressure off Beck through some creative, misdirection offense.
We will find out soon enough Saturday.

It's going to be a lot more quick passes designed to get the ball out of his hands immediately because the OL can't be trusted to give him 3 seconds for routes to develop and the secondary to be read.

And we will run the ball at all gaps throughout the game even if it isn't working because you have to keep the defense honest. If the run is abandoned, the defense just starts firing off at the QB on every play and then the quick stuff won't even work, and you get routes jumped for pick sixes and such.

The Tennessee D-line is just as good if not better than Ole Miss. The UGA O line better be ready for a long night, Saturday night! Hopefully they can adjust and give some gaps to run through and Beck just a few seconds more than he got against Ole Miss?

I think a big part of the issue in Oxford was the rainy weather and of course home field advantage in general.
We had players slipping on the field on both sides of the ball and I don't think I saw any of their players slip.
Maybe they were prepared with longer cleats, don't know.
The quick passes can work around the main line blocking issue but you still need some outside blocking for passes out in the flats to work.
We really need for our TE's to step up against Tennessee to catch some short passes and give us some outside blocking.

Kirby is not convinced that any of the other QBs would do significantly better than Beck.

But the real issue lies in the reality that he doesn't want to lose any of those potentially competing for next years starting role to the portal.

The OP shows up out of the blue and trashes our entire team and coaches and says he hasn’t donated since the Dooley era and we keep feeding this troll? Ignore him. Unlike what Centuries of conquerers did to the Sicilian women. This is like his 3rd user name at least. Same schtick, different name.

Hell. At this point I’d tell Beck we’re opening up the play book and for him to just go out and do his thing. No pressure…just ball out and we’ll see what happens. And then get the receivers in a room and tell them to get their shite together. There is no second chance.

I’d rather Beck go out in a blaze of glory than through death by tunnel screen.

The kids head is shot so might as well go all in.

Imo Tenn is better because they're more consistent, but OM has more talent & we were lucky enough to get their absolute best Saturday. Not sure if Tennessee will be quite that level no matter how well they play.

Sucks though as we had been decent to solid on pass blocking before last week. Probably the way Texas felt before they played us TBF

As he should.

Nobody behind Beck can play.

Danny Kanell said this exact same thing last week on Dukes and Bell

I hold the opposite stance. Ole Miss has 2 fire breathers at edge that brought it for 4 quarters. We are weakest at tackle. Bad matchup. Tennessee has Pierce with 5.5 sacks but nobody else above 3. Much more spread out however I think to a man their DBs are better. Should be fun.

I played for Coach Dooley and you are not a good poster. You come off as a lower IQ person trying to troll and failing. Same as your other alts.

Put him on the bench and anyone else in at QB.

We need a Wonderwall at offensive line.

Remind me how that affected Ole Miss’ play.
