Guys we've been in the dumps for a month now. Complaining about this and about that. It's downright arse up in here. Even though I've been bitching and moaning right along with yall I still want our players and coaches to be successful.

Hoping we can be a little upbeat, more more positive, more supportive of our team....and each other.

I hope that Milroe isn't hurt and becomes our greatest success story. It wasn't too long ago Hurts traveled the same road.

I hope that Coach Deboer and Coach Kane are the coaches the team needs.

I hope they are enjoying being here at Bama and are as successful as Bama football has been in the past.

I hope the players don't see all the negativity from us fans, former players, etc and give up. That they understand its passion not hate that drives us. That this negativity doesn't push them away.

I want nothing more than the players and coaches we have to be successful.

You do realize you're posting this on Alabama forum board that's known for meltdowns?

Hope is not a plan.

Just kidding man. I feel you. I’m just going to try and be patient during this transition and limit most of my bitching and moaning to the game threads.

Also I’m a little disappointed as I thought this thread was going to have pics of Hope from SEC Shorts.

I'm keeping plenty of receipts just in case Deboer surprises people next year.

All my hope is found in Jesus. But we should definitely be more supportive of the program that has brought us more joy than any other program in the history of college football could have.

BAMA is everlasting. BAMA will win more titles. DeBoer is going to win here.

A busted arse Mizzou at home followed by a bye is EXACTLY what the Dr ordered. Not that I want anyone to get hurt. But it is. Now, let's kick their fricking arse, and beat the shite out of the bye week.

That's a lot of hope there, brother. Might as well throw world peace, and death to cancer in there while you're at it just in case.

You talking hope when the 2024 team is actively devaluing the Alabama game on an opponent's schedule from "do we take the goalposts down?" to "do we schedule for homecoming?"

DeBoer isn't the problem. He is the right guy for the job. Saban bailed for a reason and I'm convinced he knew locker room and team dynamics and didn't want any part of it. CKD bought the car and didn't get the carfax report.

The Alabama fan base is pretty knowledgeable about football. Last year there was a good bit of support for Milroe against the naysayers not so much now. The entire fan base, including McCarron and McElroy, has woke and spoke. DeBoer should listen.

So what are you suggesting he "do" and what are people telling him to do? I'm in favor of benching Milroe to see what Ty Simpson gives us but other than that what do you want him doing?
