Twas Auburn but since they've fallen from grace, their fans have been super chill. Some of the most hospitable people I've ever met were Auburn fans at the last two Iron Bowls in Jordan Hare. Before that, you couldn't take one step without some boomer or frat boy in cowboy boots trying to tempt fate with his mouth
Atmosphere has always been electric and one of the best in the country but the town sucks if you're not tailgating.

I haven't been to that many, but I've been to Baton Rouge 3 times and had an absolute blast every time. Helped that we won.

A&M are always the nicest fans imo. I have been asked to join more tailgates there than all the others combined.
My favorite is Kentucky in the fall. Horses running and bourbon flowing with typically an easy win.
Worst is UGA and LSU. Assholes yelling tiger bait and grown men barking.

Baton Rouge
Have had some great experiences there. Wins and losses
Unlike their message board crowd, their fans that tailgate are awesome. Some of the best tailgate food ive ever had

I've only been to a handful of away games and they were all several years ago so here is my list in no order:
Tennessee: at the time the downtown area was terrible, and their campus felt like a northern school where the fraternity houses were just crappy old homes. Tailgating wasn't much at all. The great thing about them though is that the Northeast Tennessee area is beautiful and the stadium is in a cool area
Auburn: quaint town but too spread out. The bars are/were a joke compared to us. Their fans are nice up front, but you could tell they had a holier than thou attitude. Their stadium is actually nice on the inside. The outside is a total piece of crap. If you can take their fans' smugness then it's an ok place to watch the game
Mississippi state: I don't know what to say but feel bad for people that actually attend that school. Talk about a school in the middle of nowhere farmland. Nothing unique about the place but nothing terrible. It's one of those places you go just for the game and leave as soon as it's over
Florida: Good/great bar scene around the stadium. Fans don't really fit in with the rest of the SEC. Not a true southern feel for the place. Stadium is pretty cool. No real issues there
I'm no expert on the rest of the SEC teams/towns but I feel like Tuscaloosa gets a bad rep from others. We have bars within a stones throw of the stadium and the campus is top notch. Traffic in and out has gotten better since they've widened 59

Have experienced this first hand from some AU fans as well.

If you're looking for a somewhat laid back kind of game in a nice town, going to Kentucky is a good time. I've enjoyed my visits to Lexington, stadium is nice and everything is easy to navigate.
It's not going to be a wild or raucous gameday experience, but the UK fans are all very nice and make it enjoyable. The town has a lot of good restaurants and bars as well. IMHO it's an underrated road game destination.

College Station is an awesome environment, especially if you catch midnight yell.
Starkville is a shite hole and you leave there with your ears ringing.

Baton Rouge. Last time I went was 2018. Everybody is usually chill in Touchdown Village, offering food and drinks even with our Bama gear on. You have to deal with Big Al being hung in effigy and beaten with a stick but that’s not unusual at any SEC campus tailgate.
