Even with "Misthrow Milroe", Bond had 5 catches

He might double that total on Saturday night now that he has legit throwers in Ewers and Manning

Anticipate a highly competitive game against a strong Georgia team

Regardless of the outcome, I expect both teams to make the playoff

There will be no undefeated teams following the playoff

A couple have a decent shot of being undefeated heading into their conference championship games (Oregon and Miami), but I look for both to lose in their conference championships, Oregon to Ohio State and Miami to Clemson

We will likely lose a game before the SEC championship ... possibly on Saturday night

I don't recall this level of parity in college football

It used to be "On any given Sunday" in the NFL that a good team could lose to a bad team, now I believe that's also true for Saturdays ... at least for the Top 50-60 ranked teams

If Texas is banking on 5 catches for 79 yards and 0TD leading the way to beat UGA, I feel like UGA has a pretty good chance of winning.

They haven't even announced if he's playing yet.

Bond is on pace to have about the same stats and production that he had last season, though.

Look after Mr. Bond. See that some harm comes to him.

Misthrow Milroe has a better completion percentage than Ewers

He had 4 catches + 1 incompletion that incompetent refs called a catch which led to a TD right before half and completely altered the momentum of the game

but who's keeping track

He's the one that "caught" the big pass that he didn't really catch and that the refs didn't review for some "unknown" reason.

Texas has 5-6 pretty equal WR's. Add a good TE and some RB's that can catch the ball.. it's hard to defend, but none of them will have great stats. There's a good chance 6+ get drafted in the next 3 years. Wingo is just a freshman, but he might be our best WR.

Starters
WR Bond 21-369 3 TD + 51 yards rushing + 1 TD
WR Golden 19-246 3 TD + 30 yards passing
WR Moore 11-152 3 TD
TE Helm 21-311 2 TD
RB Blue 14-105 2 TD + 268 yards rushing + 4 TD

Backups
WR Wingo 13-296 2 TD + 80 yards rushing
WR Cook 8-137 2 TD
WR Bolden 10-77 1 TD
RB Wisner 9-70 + 278 yards rushing + 2 TD (he may start going forward)

Texas just spreads the ball around to a lot of different guys. They are all fast as shite.. well Helm isn't, but he is a damn good TE.

eta - We also have been up by 20+ early in the 3rd quarter in most of our games, so about 400+ rushing yards have gone to other guys.

That's cool, but my comment was directed at OP saying that Bond would double his catches against UGA because he has a more accurate QB(s) throwing to him(even though said QBs have lower completion percentages than Jalen Milroe.)

Doesn't he have an ankle sprain from last week?

Maybe they can wrap it up well and probably have him play, but it seems unlikely he's going to be at 100% unless it was an extremely mild sprain.

That's normally an injury that takes 2-3 weeks in the best case.

Since Texas fans are quick to inform everyone how stacked their WR room is, I don't think the kid plays at all.

Just a comparison for UGA:

starters:
WR Smith - 23-412, 3 TD
WR - Lovett - 27-302, 2 TD
WR - Bell - 23-298, 4 TD + 54 yards rushing + 1 TD
TE - Luckie - 10-144, 3 TD (technically he's the #2 TE, but the #1 has become more of a blocking TE in Delp)
RB - Ettienne - 17-107, 0 TD + 335 rushing + 4 TD

Backups:
WR - Young (SUSPENDED) - 11-149, 2 TD
WR - Humphreys - 6-128, 1 TD
WR - Evans - 7-80, 0 TD + 52 rushing.
TE - Delp - 5-53, 0 TD
RB - Jones - 6-82, 0 TD + 18 rushing + 1 TD (3rd down back)
RB - B. Robinson - 6-33 +73 rushing + 3 TD (likely out for game with injury)
RB - Frazier - 2-19 + 194 rushing + 1 TD

It will be interesting to see if UGA works another WR in more with Young being suspended or if they go with a 5 man rotation instead of 6 for the most part. UGA could lean more into double TE sets. Yurosek is the 3rd TE for UGA and he's been a disappointment so far, but he's got potential.

But yes, UGA also spreads the ball around to a lot of different guys.
