If lsu happens to lose Saturday in Fayetteville what would the fan response be?

I’m guessing about 10% of the fan base will want Kelly fired with another 25/30% getting aggravated and willing to jump on the fire him train with one more loss after. If he loses 4 games this year and goes 8-4 it will be a pretty toasty off season in Baton Rouge.

You'll definitely see the rantards call for everyone to be fired, but the sane and rational fans like some of us know that nothing is changing for the foreseeable future.
Kelly is a good, proven coach and isn't going anywhere for at least the next few years.
Pittboss on the other hand, is a lame duck already.

I think one thing that’s going to be really hard for some fans to grasp is with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas to the conference, the sec is now nfl lite. 8-4 is the new 10-2 and 10-2 will almost guarantee your team a playoff spot most years. So going 8-4 is going to happen much more often now

Same as for USC: We lost a game we were expected to win. Now we have to win a game we were expected to lose. Life goes on.

I was telling my hog fan friend of mine last night that there might be 3-4, 2 loss SEC teams at the end of the season. If, (Big If) we or Tennessee upset Bama it throws a lot of teams in the conversation. SEC championship and CFP selection is going to rightfully piss a lot of SEC fan bases off.

We should never lose to those pigs.
BK just cost our chances of making the playoffs.
I'm so tired of LSU playing down to Arkansas a bottom tier program. Arkansas is never any good why can't we blow them out every year like we are supposed to do?

I expect a good close game. With the current state of the SEC any team can beat you....more so than any year I can ever remember. It will be very disappointing if LSU loses and of course people will call for firing Kelly. Is it not the same for Arky fans when yall lose or have 6-6 seasons as opposed to when LSU has 9-3 seasons?

It would be a bad look for BK and LSU to lose to a lame duck coach.
