It evidently has a hard time looking past head-to-head.
Which, at this point in this season, with those records, is dumb.

ESPN rankings, etc. are usually complete nonsense.
They are not thought leaders.

Individual head to head games gets way too much significance in CFB and has forever now.
Teams do have on and off days and teams do improve or regress drastically over the course of a season.
That's one thing college basketball abd baseball have done well compared to CFB but also part of what makes CFB unique.
But how many times have we seen one team blow out another team early in the year and then get a rematch later and blow them out in return?
Happens all the time in all sports.

LOL at Texas with a 31% chance to win the NC.
Texas is good, but good lord, those numbers are ridiculous.

% Chance to win the SEC
60% Texas
15% Alabama
5% Georgia
12x the chance to win the SEC as Georgia
That is simply stupid. If they beat us this week, there is a pretty good chance we don't even make the championship game, even if we win out after that game.. either way, there is no way we are 12x more likely to win the SEC. No way.

If you lose to Georgia, you won't win out; you'll probably drop 2 more.
If you win, I still think you drop 1 (hopefully to us), and that will get you in.

You guys are really setting yourselves up for the annual October rollercoaster meme.

Regardless of how well we do for the rest of the season, we're beating Texas.
Put money on it.

Uh, have you watched the SEC this year? It's getting to be pretty obvious that even a 2-loss team won't be out of it for the SECCG. If Texas loses to UGA, and then wins out. I'd say their chances of making the SECCG are definitely >50%.

Never forget when 2019 LSU was ranked 3rd after the season by ESPN’s straight retard methodology

ESPN creates unrealistic scenarios.
Then based on these scenarios, somewhat expected upsets are considered UNTHINKABLE to them and require maximum sensationalism.
They feed their own hype.
