?This season is the epitome of “WAOM”. It’s WAOM in its absolute purest form, you could mainline it. ?3 points in the last minutes of two games or undefeated, just heartbreaking shite. I literally had flashbacks of the Arkansas 4th down throw-behind 4th and forever to stay out of the championship bullshite when Lacy caught that ball Saturday. Man it’s so hard to be an Ole Miss fan. 40+ years of this. I can remember being in the Recovery Room bar off North State street in Jackson, my dad drinking his arse off before we went up on Alabama 27-0 at Memorial Stadium in Jackson only to see them score 62 unanswered. I was twelve. This hurt worse.

I had some drunken ramblings with my Dad after the game on Saturday. Every indicator makes me think we lose a few more…but that’s not very WAOM. WAOM would be convincingly winning out only to miss the playoffs by one spot and leave us talking about what could have been if we just finished off Kentucky or didn’t shite the bed in Baton Rouge.

I’ve never seen the Arkansas 4th and 25 play, I closed my eyes at the stadium and won’t watch when the replay is shown. I still don’t know what happened. If you try to describe it I won’t read it

There's a name I haven't heard in decades.
I've tended to keep things in perspective over the years because I have lived through many, many highs and lows of Ole Miss football. But this year was different. This was the year. Not anymore.
I'm not saying I'm not going to watch anymore games this year, but being near a TV or radio during game time has moved down the list of priorities for me on Saturdays. If the team isn't going to make the necessary changes to win games, which are obvious to most of us and most other fans I have communicated with, then I'm not going to go out of my way to watch them.

This basically sums up my thoughts. Why the frick we have kept rolling out Mac at center and never putting Bentley in? Why?
