I asked my dad what kind of people come from Georgia.

He said go watch the movie Deliverance to better understand what Georgia people are like.

Can anyone explain this...how does this movie do that?

Why don't you go ask your dad?

Either that, or do your homework and use your brain to figure out the answer.

And The Chainsaw Massacre both with and without McConaughey are the type people from Texas, as well as the steers and plenty of queers.

It depicts four Georgians getting together for a guy's trip down a river that I believe is going to be dammed in the near future. So I guess Georgia folks are adventurous even as they grow older and a bit apart in their friendships.

The classic novel Tobacco Rd gives a better and more realistic look into Georgia life.

If the movie is correct, It’s all metrosexuals and hillbillies. There is no between.

If you're talking about rural Georgia during the depression, then yes.
Added thought-- If Deliverance had taken place in Tennessee, all of the characters would have been related.
Squeal like a pig.

Was the movie actually set in Georgia, or just had some location filming done there for the Chatooga River scenes? Do they ever actually say what state they are in, in the story? By the way, the Chatooga is the state line between GA and SC, so why doesn't SC get the same negative press due to Deliverance? If you are rafting that river, you are in both states.

If you want to use the movie as a reference for the game, it would mean Georgia is going to frick Texas like they are in an environment they don't belong in and can't escape from.

Didn't really think this through did you?

I rafted down that river a few years ago. Did not get butt raped.

Which side of the river did they stop on? I'm wanting to say it was the right side.

Since rivers flow towards the ocean, and it's unlikely they were moving up river, we can figure out which state they were in.

If they did indeed stop on the right side of the river, they would be in Georgia. If they stopped on the left side, they would be in SC.

In Clemson, South Carolina, it's a love story...

(The filming locations were closer to Clemson than Athens.)

They make multiple stops, I don't recall which side they stopped on when Ned Beatty gets raped.

We are all Dawgs, this Saturday.

I guess I have to practice being super douchy and barking at random strangers like a fricking retard, but whatever it takes...
