While this is the definition of a trap game to a T (we are coming off a big ranked win, opponent with a bad record, following game is another big ranked matchup) I’m not as concerned as I would be in the past. I think Elko has the team on the right path and will keep them focused this week. Miss st isn’t to be taken lightly if you look at how they’ve hung around the horns and bulldogs.
And if Mizzou game Connor shows up, I have zero concerns about how many points we put up.

I can tell you from experience that Miss St fans are among the worst... I'm talking Texas Tech level type shite. I've been to just about every road venue in the SEC multiple times and Miss St fan experience is easily the worst.

TBH, I would be very surprised and highly disconcerted if the final score wasn't along these lines. People are talking State up, and their offensive performance against the Dawgs was pretty impressive, but this is still the team that was blown out by Toledo. Sark and Smart underestimated the Cowbells; Elko won't.
