Chicken I have a brilliant idea to help the Rant - Football Discussion Board

TL;DR version:
We should have a football board (like OT, politics, Food/Drink, etc.)
The mods must be very strict about keeping the board on target. I volunteer for such a job.
TL Version:
The demand for serious football talk far outpaces the supply in regular ol' SECRant. People are becoming disillusioned and there are whispers of mutiny/jumping ship.
Chicken, head it off by creating a dedicated football board. That way, we get the best of both worlds - talking s*** and talking ball. It'll give SECRant an even stronger grip on the football forum market than it already has and keep everyone happy.
Ranters: Regardless of race, creed, religion, age, alma mater, or intelligence level (but not trolling tendencies), all would be welcome on this innovative forum. Rally behind FootballFrenzy in the Rebelution (shameless plagiarism there. Those of you who weren't homeschooled won't get it). Upvote if you agree and reply to extol the virtues and appeal of such a board. Downvote if...well, if you don't like talking about football, I guess.

Step 1 would be limiting the amount of threads that A&M fans can create. Actually, that may be the only required step.

This is the most important thread in the history of the Rant. My tone was playful, but the message is sincere.
I don't know why someone hasn't done it already. Are the mods too lazy? If so, I'll take on the responsibility all by myself.
This is something a LOT of people want. Not just posters, but lurkers.

If Chicken doesn't do something, someone else is going to create a serious football forum and make sure it stays that way, and a LOT of people are going to spend a lot less time here and a lot more time there.

I love this site, but I come here for football with a side of stupidity, not double servings of stupidity with a sprinkling of football discussion on top. I guarantee Chicken will make a LOT more money just by adding one board and assigning the right moderators to it.

Unfortunately, this board has become nothing but an alter filled troll fest. If you want legit football discussion, you need to go somewhere else.

I understand what you are saying and I agree. A serious SEC Football forum would keep traffic here on the site overall instead of having to go elsewhere.
